The invention of the stone cage and the later innovation

Thousands of years ago, the egyptians woven a basket of reeds and put them into the Nile to protect them from the erosion of the river.

The europeans then used wicker baskets full of stones to make military fortifications and flood defences.

These baskets were given the name "Large Cage" from the Italian "Gabbione". In the middle of the 19th century, the first commercial stone cages appeared.

In the middle of the twentieth century, the caged network underwent another reform, and the stone cage welding process was introduced.
